Our Aquablast Tumbler line is a very versatile solution with the ability to refine the process to your exacting requirement. 

The blast, Wash & Dry stages can all be reduced, extended and changed around or additional steps added in. The solution and process is highly controllable allowing for complete process control and monitoring.

Aquablast® Tumbler Blast & Wash Line

Our Aquablast Tumbler line solution offers the ability to batch process or continuously process inline small to medium size components in one step.

The Tumbler process is highly controllable and parameters can be refined to process with the correct amount of intensity for your components be that tumbling intensity, action or direction or that of the blast guns and process parameters. 

These parameters can be decided on as part of our sample processing and subsequent process development to ensure full process control, consistency and results. 

Our tumbler solutions can be made bespoke to your requirement with barrel sizes to match component size and quantity along with number of nozzles. With the dual processing of blasting and washing components can go in be stripped or cleaned, washed and dried in one process step removing many handling 

Our Tumblers and Tumbler lines are being used in industries such as:

Additive manufacturing: To Tumble batch parts for post process power removal and surface smoothing.

Fastener manufacturing: For the cleaning and surface prep of fasters from composite to Titanium fasteners. removing scale and other contaminants as part of the manufacturing process along with deburring and general surface finishing requirements such as coating preparation. 

Components loaded, Blasted & Rinsed

Components loaded manually via the loading shute or directly into the tumbler barrel or via an automatic feeder. Once loaded the tumbler will start to blast components on a set program that can be defined for each varying component type. Once complete the parts will continue to be tumbled whilst they are rinsed within the barrel to remove excess media

Transfer & Wash

Once the components have been rinsed within the tumbler barrel the machine will then start to turn the opposite way pushing all of the components into the wash tunnel. The wash tunnel process the parts rotating them and pushing them through the heated wash stages and final rinse. (the number of stages and requirement are detailed to each application) 

Dry, Unload

Once the components are through the wash and rinse stages of the tunnel the components with then go through the drying phase where hot air blowers or knives will dry the components before they are unloaded out of the solution dropping into a unload carrier or automated conveyor.
